Thanks - it does look like there is active development happening on
cygwin now so I'll wait a while and see what happens. Have you tried
using sshd to start rsync with your version? I thought the
long-standing hangup issue was fixed a while back had mixed results
trying to use it - but those might have been long-filename problems instead.
