I'm quite happy with borgbackup as a secondary backup method aside
BackupPC and wouldn't go back to rsnapshot and alike.
Borgbackup is IMO fast, does deduplication, compression encryption with
relatively little effort -- even offsite. And its "pool" of chunks is
quite easy to copy.
I didn't try borg-rsyncimport which is advertised as
"can import existing rsync+hardlink or rsnapshot based backups into a
borgbackup repository."

Nonetheless I wouldn't want to miss BackupPC.
