Hi all,
After a substantial gap, and having just rebuilt / re-installed several
machines recently,
using Ubuntu 8.10 [because it supports Vodafone etc Mobile Internet ...], I am
installing
Bacula as my backup system, using Disk Volumes as the backup media.
Has anyone, or is anyone, considering making Amazon S3 storage available as an
off-site
media for the Storage Daemon ?
Kern, is it possible to have more than one Storage Daemon running on a machine ?
Would anyone welcome a GUI program for creating / editing / validating
configuration
files for the Director [+SD, +FD later ...] ?
For the record, as last time, the single most troublesome problem in installing
Bacula has
been getting MySQL and Bacula to co-operate. A step-by-step guide is needed, or
maybe
needs to be more prominent ...
Congratulations on the progress achieved in the 3.0 version !
Regards,
Howard Thomson
