Dear Ron,

My point is that if you approach the topic as belligerantly as your
last post, that is bound to be the case.

That's because you fail to present any evidence to support your
assertion.

I respect your opinion, Susan, very much (I

Bigger than Shoghi Effendi's most challenging issue of eliminating
prejudice, huh? ;-}

But what exactly is this light that you would like me to see? Is the
light your castrophizing about the future of the Baha'i community? If
you want to persuade me of that, get off the internet and get busy
collecting the data which might support your assertion. Get a hold of
seekers (from 1-800-42Unite,not the internet) who have decided not to
pursue their interest in the Faith. Give them a questionaire and find
out if their reasons are the ones you presume. Then come back here and
present this data to us. Or by 'light' here do you mean your
particular views on infallibility? If the latter, how are our views
different?

>Divine Providence will not allow our community, with its present
> conception of infallibility, to grow further in numbers and//or
> influence,until we correct this problem, I believe.

Is that prophecy infallible? ;-}

Former House member Ian Semple recently gave a talk in England where
he was asked how we should deal with the problem of growing
fundamentalism in the Baha'i community. Mr. Semple answered "With a
sense of humor."

You might try it.

warmest, Susan
