Dear Susan,

Interesting point. I have also heard of hadiths that could be construed 
to point to the Faith, so we would probably not want to throw them all 
out. Like most prophecies, they can be interpreted to fit many points of 
view. This reminds me a little of a discussion by Michael Sours that 
tried to dissuade Baha'is from seeing Paul as some kind of 
Covenant-breaker. For one thing, the same strict successional form of 
Covenant did not exist. Secondly, there are a number of things from Paul 
that assist in teaching the Faith, such as defining the fruits of the 
spirit that Christ said to watch for.
