Hi, What is battery life? I thought that an automotive lead acid battery - if maintained well will last around 3.5 to 4 yrs. So does one infer that if you maintain the battery well and also if you use KS for cold start, will the battery last 5 yrs?
I think that mine had died in some 3 yrs or a little more. Forgotten it. This was inspite of the Rectifier unit overcharging the battery for some months, till that thing died out too and had to be replaced. So the battery was well maintained all right, but without my knowledge, it was also getting more food than needed. So it was also bloating up in the process! I never use the KS, even when it is near freezing in Delhi. However, I do use the choke as I indicated earlier.
