Looking at LP I see quite a few "shortcuts". I will first do
Bengaluru - Krishnagiri - Vellore - Arcot. From here, do
I continue towards Kanchipuram - Chengalpattu -
Tindivanam or should I do Arcot - Tindivanam via
Vandavasi?
And again, from Tindivanam, should I take the SH to
Pondi or should I continue on NH45 to Villupuram and
then bear west?
I'm not sure about the quality of the road surfaces on
these state highways.
We are not overly worried about speed here as it's
going to be a leisurely 2-day trip. More interested in
scenic and smooth roads (in that order :D).
Also, the mode of transport is not decided yet (there
*could* be another couple who aren't into biking) so
I invite suggestions keeping both bikes and cages in
mind :).
