hi, I don't know y u all r preferring the longest route. Where does Kanchipuram comes in between Bangalore & Pondy. Bangalore - Krishnagiri - Thiruvanamalai - Dindivanam - Pondy is the shortest. All routes r under widening process as of now, u cannot xpect better roads. So taking the shortest route will the wise idea. Kanchipuram,vellore,chennai all r completely out of the way.
