Thanks Venkat! Will check it out with your prescribed method and
revert tommorrow, as it has gotten dark outside, and makes it tough to
take the readings. The multimeter that I have is kind of funny, as it
is also a clamp type device. It has only one setting for DC voltage,
and it measures from 1 volt to 999 volts on that setting itself!.

Also, another issue that I have been having. It is stalling of the
bike - clearly due to fuel supply problems. I have gone and got a
carburettor cleaning spray (some Abro brand, supposedly made in USA
for Rs.160/-). Looks like there is a great deal of water sitting in
the petrol tank. Will remove the tank and put it upside down and clean
up the tank and the fuel tap and any filtering jaali that it has. Then
will clean the carb too - using the spray. My question here is. Is
there any special way of cleaning the carb with the spray?

Looks like you are taking your studies quite seriously. Here, I too
have enrolled, but looks like it has gone waste, as I am not following
it up at all!

Thanks and best // Rajeev.
