Rajeev hi,
There is nothing special with the use of Carb cleaner sprays.

How ever it is advisable to separate the rubber parts before spraying the
solvent.

Petrol tank, if you are doing a DIY task, my personal suggestions are

1. removal of fuel guage prior to the final clean up
2. Putting the petrol tank under the sun for at least one hour after the
clean up to facilitate escape of moisture from the system
3. Physically checking for trends which might point towards tank rusting,
very specifically at the seam welded joints.

Studies : True, I have indeed taken it seriously as I want to set an example
to my Children... (not to study at this age being one of them :P )

Also the B-School is really top notch. Ambience + the way stuff is
Dichipered etc makes one to really slog in.... I just enjoyed our break
between Dasara & Diwali & now back to books type. LOL!

In fact when some one put in a tech querry, I am going bonkers as my
intutive thinking is out for a toss....
