Useful advice as usual! Will follow it surely!!

Will remove the gauge and also check continuity (is that a way of
checking it?), as the gauge is conked off and wonder if this float
wala thing is the culprit or the instrument in the cluster! Removing
the tank - so might as well have a look at this thing too.

Rust? Yes! at the mouth itself it is rusting and I have to figure out
what to do for that!!
