Vicomte,
I have of course considered the objections you have before I presented the idea, but I
believe that won't be a major problem. The words of nobles from any country can be
trusted and of course the commanding officers (as well as all soldiers) would have to
swear not to turn upon our armies. Should this happen they would also know that this
opportunity of earning their freedom would not be allowed to new prisoners.
Also, many of the captured enemies are actually mercenaries who have no special
loyalties to a specific country.
But of course your opinion will be considered.
