Colonel de Custaad First of all forgive me for my late response to your PM regarding the new structure of commands in the regiment. All of my time has been spent at the DG HQ trying to finish the astonishing amount of paperwork that needs to be done before the upcoming summer campaign. You will have my application for the position as Lt. Colonel first thing in the morning. For your information I have already started to introduce Captains d�Jour and de la Vega to their new roles as squadron commanders next month. Unfortunately they do not have much time to acquire all the new skills they need before they will lead their squadrons in battle. But I have no doubt that they will learn quickly and succeed in the battlefield. I am glad to see that you have taken actions to recruit new brave young gentlemen into our ranks and started to rebuild the foundation of the DG so that the regiment once again can become what it has been. If you need any help to subsidise the purchasing of commissions and horses for the new recruits don�t hesitate to ask me for a contribution.
