Well this is bad news, as you can imagine. When there is an effort to
increase the pace of dev, losing you for 1,5 month is not the best thing
that could happen.
The one thing that I'm not very comfortable with is the short term notice
for this - I had in mind that you'd be implement the trust management and I
did not see this coming.
[vlad] i know this is very short notice. I gave you the news as soon as
i found out about it. My understanding is teh company itself was in
negociations about this for only a week and a half. But because i was
not in Romania i wasn't aware of this possible contract.
I think that is partly my fault since i could have requested to be
informed and i could have given you the information about a week before
So I'll work on that, but in parallel I'd be interested to discuss with you
(or with your management if you want to) on the kind of commitment you want
to have with the studio after Jan 20. Would that be possible ? It would be
great if we can define some rules together to avoid these surprises. By the
way, I'll repeat myself on that but just in case - the more transparent you
and your management can be with me, the better it will be for everyone
involved. In the sense, if you prefer a lighter commitment, or if some
aspects of the contracts are unsatisfying, it will be a good time to discuss
it openly. We are all learning here, so feedback is essential.

from my company and you. Do you wan me to try to set it up before i go
to Romania or after? (i'll be back in Romania on the 8th)

milestones, we're almost there. Then, for the time you work on another
project, some support will be most welcome if needed, definitely - maybe
part of the day on the chat so that if another programmer needs your input
he can grab you there ?
