Hi,
I've listened to the audio of the minimum viable product presentation
you gave Josselin, and it was an interesting discussion to hear! (cf
http://venturehacks.com/articles/minimum-viable-product )
It definitely goes for the arguments you having putting forward, and I'm
retaining the following points:
* We need to test game framing & audience - just like you said : )
* It doesn't necessarily require to actually develop the concept -
running ads and seeing if people click is a good test by itself
(which is what motivated me to start the campaigns, cf my
previous post - even without a complete framing, it could
already be interesting to confirm if the concept of "hacking"
websites makes people react and click)
* Which means that, while we develop the concept, we can certainly
use ads even before developing anything to test the effect it
has on people seeing the ad (aka "smoke testing")
What do you think? Do you see anything else?
Xavier.
