True - this is something that has been sitting in my todo list for some time now. The reason I'm hesitating is that reaching out to communities can have the effect of "burning" the lead. When someone tries a game that sucks, it's much harder to make him come back. When we use ads, we don't care if the person who comes is lost - there is still plenty of people we can reach the same way. Communities, on the other side, are more rare, and I was getting to the conclusion that it was better to see what it gives with ads first. But, on the other side, you are right about the fact that it's actually easier to discuss with communities - which is more likely to be what we want today. We want people sharing the targeted interest to tell us if what we plan to do sucks or not, and why... What do you think?
