I thought of a possible way to go around these new restrictions. You probably know about the "Share" button that external websites can use to allow their visitors to publish a link to their page in their story feed? http://www.facebook.com/share/ http://developers.facebook.com/docs/share We could probably use it, instead of the Facebook API, to let users share new games or results in their news feed - no restrictions there. The only drawback is that players would have to type something themselves to introduce what they are sharing - which can be quite a blocker for the crap info that Facebook games usually ask to publish, but with our game the incentive to publish the announcements could be strong enough for the author.
