See a previous post -- bcharge failing to detect the device on second
run is normal, it's a bit of missing code loop check in the tool (I'll
see if I can't write a patch today :) ).

- plug in pearl
- run bcharge (or runs automagically)
- as root "lsusb -v | less -c", look for "Research" section and check
that value says 500mA
- as root "rmmod usb_storage"

Now btool should be able to access the device. If you unplug/replug
the pearl, you have to rmmod usb_storage again.
