OK, done. Unfortunately this doesn't work for me either: no hang with btool now, but also no devices found. Are you sure that 2007-02-19 is the right date to roll back to? Nb. this is with the udev rules from CVS-current, so bcharge from CVS- current was still being run ... is that likely to be an issue?
