Hi Charles, I've going on setting up our BASE. I finally had the print map done on a TAM file, however when I uploaded it it says it is un unknown file fromat, I guess I am missing some small details. I checked the site you said for the file format, but as I said I seem to have something missing, do you have by any chance a TAM file your self that you could let me check?. Let me tell you how I built the TAM file, maybe you can pick up what I did wrong. I organized the info according to the example at http://www.flychip.org.uk/protocols/robotic_spotting/fileformats.php, I used excel for the mapping info, and word for the other info, then I saved the excel files as csv. Then I took the info from the word files, and paste it in to note pad, I also opened the csv files with note pad and put all this together, and saved it as a csv file. Can you think of
what I did wrong. I appreciate very much your help, I know it is a lot of work, but let me tell you we are the only lab in Colombia, South America that has a spotter robot, so I think it is intresting for you guys that we use BASE to handle our array data, maybe if another lab gets their spotter here in Colombia we can help them setting up their BASE. Thanks again, Diana Bernal

Hi Diana,
Have a look at that page for file format description :
http://www.flychip.org.uk/protocols/robotic_spotting/fileformats.php
For the reporter map question, simply use the GAL file of your chip
Hope this helps
Charles
