Roland, Thanks for the pointers. I started a new .bbdb file. Tried to streamline the bbdb options and do most through customization window.
Running Gnus alone and now bbdb doesn't appear to be trying to capture any addresses. It will auto-complete addresses that I already have. These are my current settings: In the init file: '(bbdb-complete-mail t) '(bbdb-complete-mail-allow-cycling t) '(bbdb-file "~/org/.bbdb") '(bbdb-mail-alias (quote star)) '(bbdb-message-all-addresses t) '(bbdb-mua-auto-update-p (quote query)) '(bbdb-mua-pop-up (quote (quote horiz))) '(bbdb-mua-update-interactive-p (quote (search . create))) in the emacs file loaded second: (bbdb-initialize 'gnus 'message 'anniv) (add-hook 'diary-list-entries-hook 'bbdb-anniv-diary-entries) Thanks for any further suggestions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Managing the Performance of Cloud-Based Applications Take advantage of what the Cloud has to offer - Avoid Common Pitfalls.
