I'll bet this is in the manual, but:

1) Open a new document using the normal template.

2) Make changes to the template as desired.

3) Save the resulting document with a different name. Remember where you saved it.

4) Use the Preference setting in HTML Web Sites to point to the location (folder) containing your modified template file.
