everyone I've ever seen has been in the form:

http://{encoded domain}/plaint/text/path.cgi

I just sorted through about 250,000 spams searching for ".%63%6f%6d" and every instance I found was in the above form, albeit, that was only 5 instances.

Still, urldecode($url) is the best option.

Or that fugly perl/regex thing, I suppose.

(can you tell I'm a fan of perl? :D)
