I had to update my http-to-itms URL resolver script. :-)
Your what now?
Was that not self explanatory? <g>
When you copy the URL of a selection in the iTunes Music Store
(contextual menu command), it's actually a URL to a Web page, which
then does conditional interstitial shenanigans.
My script cuts out that middleman, by resolving the http URL into an
itms URL which goes directly to iTunes as God intended. :D
It also supplies a list of various forms of the URL, such as HTML or
xhtml anchor links with the ampersands encoded as entities.
I've just been using it myself, but if anyone else is interested I
could write up a readme and post the thing to my.... oops I forgot my
downloads page isn't connected to the files anymore (Rumpus was
gettin' too many 'bot hits bringing my Mac to a crawl, and now that
machine is offline anyway). Odd that no one's complained about the
links not working.
