I'm with you on this one, and was wondering if there's a reason why
BBEdit doesn't use a configurable Mac OS X (NSToolbar)..?
I guess compatibility with older Mac OS X versions might be a reason?
* Toolbar - I'd like an option to use smaller toolbar icons in order
to compress the toolbar vertically. I'm not sure exactly how much
bigger it is than the old top bar thing, but it's visually a lot
"heavier" in addition to being taller. Smaller toolbar icons would
also allow more stuff to be packed into the toolbar, if desired (see
later suggestion).
