Hi
I'm still getting used to BBEdit and some aspects of it are a bit puzzling
but I am making progress honest :)
I'm now a "paid up" user actually, no longer in demo mode.
My last question concerned soft-wrapping the text against the window frame
and that was very well sorted out thank you.
My new question is about the colour picker. I'm using BBEdit exclusively for
HTML creation and there is a palatte available for "Web Safe Colours" (okay
"Colors" in US English).
What I actually want to invoke if possible is Apple's colours palette, not
the little square with 256 colours.
I've been reading the manual and it says that in the preferences:
"You can choose whether the color swatch buttons in various
HTML tools dialogs use BBEdit's Web-safe popup menu (the
factory default) or whether clicking the swatch brings up
the standard system color picker dialog."
This is very promising but when I select "Apple Color Picker" instead of
"Web-safe" it doesn't make any difference, I still get the square palette
with 256 colours.
All the other options on that "HTML Palettes" preference pane work for this
palette, so I can have it wide or Tall or Visibone, I can have it from very
small to very large but not what I want, which is the Apple Color Picker :(
I appreciate it is very possible I'm missing something extremely obvious but
I'd be grateful if someone would point me in the right direction.
