Hi Patrick, Choosing Web-safe or Apple color picker in the HTML Palette preferences pane changes how you can choose colours when you're editing your document. E.g., create a new HTML document and control-click in the body tag to 'edit tag'. When you click a colour you'll see you choices offered as it's set up in preferences (color picker or grid). Leave the preference panel open and you can quickly change and compare. The web-safe color palette is different - there are 216 such colours and it's a fixed set, so it doesn't make any sense to have any other colours available in this palette. Clicking the colour you want inserts a reference into the document, eg, clicking a nice orange colour inserts "#FF9933". Hey - I just discovered that dragging the colour gives you a little box, so you can hold it over the page you're designing to see how it looks - cool!
