Hi All,
Does anyone know of a way I can switch off EPSV mode when getting
file listings via FTP?
I am working with a new server and the client's ISP has set it up to
refuse EPSV (enhanced passive mode or extended passive mode depending
on which forum/list-archive we are reading). As a result, I can
connect but am never able to get a listing of the contents of any
directory I am looking at. The progress window just sits there (until
I cancel) indicating "Getting File Listing..."
A tech guy at the ISP told me that this is because BBEdit's FTP uses
EPSV and he hasn't found any way to switch it off either.
So, is there a way to switch it off, or should I be asking for a
feature request so that another item in the FTP window is a checkbox
to enable/disable EPSV?
