Aloha,

I have my Library/Application Support/BBEdit/ folder under SVN as a working
copy. Is there any way to have BBedit ignore the .svn folders that are
created by SVN? The .svn files show up in all my glossary's and launches
disk browser because there is a .svn folder in the startup items folder.

I sync my prefs file:

~/Library/Preferences/com.barebones.bbedit.plist

and the "File Filters", "FTP Bookmarks.xml" and "Grep Patterns.xml" files
from the prefs folder:

~/Library/Preferences/com.barebones.bbedit.PreferenceData/File Filters
~/Library/Preferences/com.barebones.bbedit.PreferenceData/FTP Bookmarks.xml
~/Library/Preferences/com.barebones.bbedit.PreferenceData/Grep Patterns.xml

I recommend *against* syncing the other items in the prefs folder since
they contain path- and/or machine-specific info.

I also sync the whole contents of my BBEdit application support folder:

~/pwoolsey/Library/Application Support/BBEdit/

to keep my scripts & clippings up to date.

If you use BBEdit's auto-save capability (I don't), I strongly recommend
*against* syncing the "Auto-Save Recovery" folder and its contents;
otherwise you can pretty much pick & choose at will.

PS: For the curious :), Chapter 2 of the manual (Help -> User Manual)
contains more details about the location and purpose of BBEdit's supporting
files & folders.
