I sync my prefs file: ~/Library/Preferences/com.barebones.bbedit.plist and the "File Filters", "FTP Bookmarks.xml" and "Grep Patterns.xml" files from the prefs folder: ~/Library/Preferences/com.barebones.bbedit.PreferenceData/File Filters ~/Library/Preferences/com.barebones.bbedit.PreferenceData/FTP Bookmarks.xml ~/Library/Preferences/com.barebones.bbedit.PreferenceData/Grep Patterns.xml I recommend *against* syncing the other items in the prefs folder since they contain path- and/or machine-specific info. I also sync the whole contents of my BBEdit application support folder: ~/pwoolsey/Library/Application Support/BBEdit/ to keep my scripts & clippings up to date. If you use BBEdit's auto-save capability (I don't), I strongly recommend *against* syncing the "Auto-Save Recovery" folder and its contents; otherwise you can pretty much pick & choose at will. PS: For the curious :), Chapter 2 of the manual (Help -> User Manual) contains more details about the location and purpose of BBEdit's supporting files & folders.
