Never mind. For some reason the original shoved itself into an xml
wrapper. Things be cool now.

It is a different type of window. I enter my shell stuff, and save
it as a unix script in the app support area in the library. The
file shows up in the unix scripts pallette. I choose "run" in the
Unix pallette (buttons like the html buttons pallette), and it
throws a warning that I don't have unix line endings.
