Yea, that's why I said "TextEdit allows non-contiguous
selections..." :) I don't think BBEdit currently supports this, but I
could be wrong. And if it doesn't, I sure wish it did.
BTW, non-contiguous selections seem to be a feature of NSTextView, so
any app that uses OS X's standard text view (e.g. Yojimbo) gains this
capability.
It takes a very long time to scroll 10,000 lines of HTML to delete.
You could select the first problematic line, jump to the bottom with
the End key, and then Shift-click to extend your selection to the
desired point. Sorry if I'm stating the obvious.
