Apple has changed the order of then rules in the OS for opening files. Here is a link to some 'comments' on the 'upgrade.' I miss it, also. But DefaultApp X seems to still work for this... Of course, now any/ all .html files open in BBEdit. ;-) Fortunately, I can simply use its "Preview" function and keep going.
