No, that's not it. I am using 10.1.2. However, I think I have discovered part of the reason for the problem I'm having. There is an NFS inactivity timeout (60 minutes by default) on the client side, which causes the Mac to disconnect from the NFS server and then quickly reconnect. For whatever reason, BBEdit then redoes all of the soft wrapping on every open document, which is what causes the lockup.
The workaround is to use a utility to increase the NFS timeout. I've set it for a week, and so far it seems to be working. The thing I'll want to do is schedule the timeout to expire sometime when I'm not doing work.
