My answer to both questions is no. I don't have the hardware to test the card, even if I lived in No. California, but I am willing to help. When you enter the command lspci -v, what is the output for the device that corresponds to the Broadcom card? If you enter the further command lspci -n, what is output for the bus with xx:xx.x the same as above?
