Hi! I can't make them work together. I'm using b43 driver from wireless-testing (+ allow-ap-vlan-modes patch) and hostapd from git.
Here is hostapd log: STA 00:1b:fc:f2:49:b2 sent probe request for broadcast SSID MGMT (TX callback) ACK mgmt::proberesp cb STA 00:1b:fc:f2:49:b2 sent probe request for broadcast SSID MGMT (TX callback) ACK mgmt::proberesp cb STA 00:1b:fc:f2:49:b2 sent probe request for broadcast SSID MGMT (TX callback) ACK mgmt::proberesp cb STA 00:1b:fc:f2:49:b2 sent probe request for broadcast SSID MGMT (TX callback) ACK mgmt::proberesp cb MGMT mgmt::deauth deauthentication: STA=00:1b:fc:f2:49:b2 reason_code=3 Station 00:1b:fc:f2:49:b2 trying to deauthenticate, but it is not authenticated. dmesg log: b43-phy3: Broadcom 4318 WLAN found b43-phy3 debug: Found PHY: Analog 3, Type 2, Revision 7 b43-phy3 debug: Found Radio: Manuf 0x17F, Version 0x2050, Revision 8 b43-phy3 debug: DebugFS (CONFIG_DEBUG_FS) not enabled in kernel config phy3: Selected rate control algorithm 'pid' Broadcom 43xx driver loaded [ Features: L, Firmware-ID: FW13 ] b43-phy3: Loading firmware version 410.2160 (2007-05-26 15:32:10) b43-phy3 debug: Chip initialized b43-phy3 debug: 32-bit DMA initialized b43-phy3 debug: Wireless interface started b43-phy3 debug: Adding Interface type 1 b43-phy3 debug: Removing Interface type 1 b43-phy3 debug: Wireless interface stopped b43-phy3 debug: DMA-32 rx_ring: Used slots 1/64, Failed frames 0/0 = 0.0%, Average tries 0.00 b43-phy3 debug: DMA-32 tx_ring_AC_BK: Used slots 0/128, Failed frames 0/0 = 0.0%, Average tries 0.00 b43-phy3 debug: DMA-32 tx_ring_AC_BE: Used slots 2/128, Failed frames 0/5 = 0.0%, Average tries 1.80 b43-phy3 debug: DMA-32 tx_ring_AC_VI: Used slots 0/128, Failed frames 0/0 = 0.0%, Average tries 0.00 b43-phy3 debug: DMA-32 tx_ring_AC_VO: Used slots 0/128, Failed frames 0/0 = 0.0%, Average tries 0.00 b43-phy3 debug: DMA-32 tx_ring_mcast: Used slots 0/128, Failed frames 0/0 = 0.0%, Average tries 0.00 Best regards.
