                       As requested, booted with ..

Linux version 2.6.24 ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version 4.1.1) #3 SMP Sun Mar 23

Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=linux ro root=806 iommu=off


    This made no difference to the situation here at all -- things are exactly 
the same as before.


 If we -assume- from this that IOMMU functionality in X86_64 is *not* the issue 
here, then perhaps Larry's P4 will be of use finding this fault after all?
