Dear Allan and List, For sure Greg's remedies can be perpetuated. Which he abhors. So I refuse to use his remedies at all. The next thing I would know is Greg would be suing me for replicating his reagents. Which is absurd. I don't condone absurdity, so I won't use his remedies. He can do something else with them. I know they are very good remedies. But other remedies that are very good will come along without Greg's hassles. I realize he thinks he is the only one with the right to take offense, but I think it odd he didn't realize I get Lorraine to test my stuff as well as his. I haven't bragged (outside of the absurd) about my remedies. But I make them AND test them and believe I really can make the best. Why should I take abuse from someone who doesn't even ask but just assumes his remedies tested better and that I never tested mine? How wierd can one get? I'm a bit set off. From my point of view Greg should apologise to me. But then maybe he won't. Se la vie. I want to acknowledge Greg for the many contributions he has made, and for the excellency of his remedies. I would that his social skills had evolved parallel to his scientific insights. I have long championed his good side and neglected to say anything about his shortcomings. If I had good sense I would continue to say nothing about his shortcomings, but I don't suppose I have such good sense. Why should I have to say anything when everyone can see? Anyone can see my shortcomings too, no doubt. Shortcomings are embarassing. Why is it so much worse when one knows everyone can see? Good question. I think it is the matter of judgment. If folks could only hold judgment back. If we only didn't judge so much. It is one thing to see someone working in the gym on flabby muscles. But we don't judge them for not being muscular do we? They are working on it. Why then when we see someone working on making their fixed ideas work despite embarassing criticism would we judge them beyond salvage? Yet this isn't uncommon. Greg doesn't know how to make his expertise pay. He is trying, and he is currently mad at me because I haven't supported his latest effort. He really DOES need to make his expertise pay. And he deserves to. But pitching a tantrum isn't getting there. And he needs to get there--deserves to. How will he do this? It will be interesting to see. Best, Hugh > >btw - I did put a drop of Gregs remedy into a glass of commercial >organic apple juice. Just as Greg said, the taste changed >dramatically instantly, with no stirring.
