I didn't know that BT worked for mosquitos, I thought it was for
catapillars? Unfortueately, many times there are no magic solutions,
especially now that we have thrown the environment so out of
balance.Controling the mosquito population on your land would most likely
have to involve treating a more wide spread area.

I don't know how interested you are in ashing, or if you have ever heard of
it. That's what I would do. I am on the third year of an aphid ashing and we
are seeing tremendous and dramatic results in a year when we would have
expected real aphid problems in our greenhouse (mild winter). Ashing is a
form of insect control used in BD.
