Roger - My mate 'Andy Jackson' wanted me to reply, says you've messed up his
afternoon coffee break.

> Confidence in your abilities, it is.
Definitely

Geez!! I never said that and certainly dont think it - but the stuff you
have been talking about in your last few posts IS the property of a very few
specially gifted people (or dedicated or confident or lucky or however else
you like to put it) And if you dont realise that its just too darn bad for
the likes of me I guess

>James Hedley will tell you anyone can do it.
I agree with James to a fair degree

This is the important bit! (combined with the confidence thing) James would
tell us that his dowsing is very reliable - his should be, He's a very
experienced and confident dowser - and he says with a grin "75% accurate
will get you a credit at any university on earth".(he's probably better than
that).
However when I start spending for a cash grain crop, if I get it wrong 25%
of the time I am done for! Thats why I back up with instrument testing!

Mate I've got an attention span like a two year old - couldn't hold a
thought pattern long enough - serious though, what you say here is entirely
possible. I have some info on this I will send you off list, but consider
the premature demise of David Tansley and Malcolm Rae - two of the greats of
radiesthesia / radionics - many say from getting too close to the action

A polaroid photo of each patch , taken with sun behind , looking down onto
the ground in question would be ideal for radionic analysis, should be just
as good for dowsing, an ordinary photo will give you the mental connection
but a polaroid captures the actual energy pattern - sun behind restricts it
to the immediate patch , taken looking into the sun will give the energy of
an entire field. Dont get anything else in the photo - no horizon - no far
away trees - no boot tips or other stuff - and dont handle the photo
Cheers

ps. I tried to convince Merla ages ago that she could dowse - (heck if I
could do it with all my hangups anybody could) - I didnt get through that
time - if this recent exchange can do that then we have done good! I will
also predict that once she gets over the first hurdle (lack of confidence or
whatever) we will probably have another 'bolter' on our hands
