Hi, Dont confuse this with transactions. Your transaction (which can either be ADO.NET 
or COM+ automatic) can have many table updates, which means your transactional 
operation will include many such da.Update statements, one for each table table 
involved in the transaction. I didnt understanding the second question correctly. Do 
you mean to ask which is the best way to bind to a grid and update the database from 
there on? What I can say is using DataSets is much more convineant because you can 
call upon the GetChanges method to get only the changes and then use a DataAdapter to 
propagate these changes to the database. You can use Collections and Arraylists here 
as well, but you will have to put in more coding effort as compared to DataSet to 
propagate changes to the database.   HTH, Manoj
