Hi Vaishali, If you see such characters, then it is not a text file that you want to
read. StreamReader is meant for reading text. Use a BinaryReader to read ascii
characters that are not text. Here's some example code : BinaryReader br = new
BinaryReader(File.OpenRead(@"D:\pooja\Progs\C++\cardgame.exe"));
BinaryWriter bw = new BinaryWriter(File.Create(@"D:\pooja\Progs\C++\temp.exe"));
Byte byteRead;
for(int i=0;i<br.BaseStream.Length;i++)
{
byteRead = br.ReadByte();
bw.Write(byteRead);
}
br.Close();
bw.Close();
