----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Dolly Message 7 in Discussion Vaishali, The problem here is you are putting your (hex) data into string. Look at the string documentation at ms-help://MS.VSCC/MS.MSDNQTR.2002APR.1033/cpref/html/frlrfSystemStringClassTopic.htm The following characters are considered white space when present in a String: hexadecimal 0x9, 0xA, 0xB, 0xC, 0xD, 0x20, 0xA0, 0x2000, 0x2001, 0x2002, 0x2003, 0x2004, 0x2005, 0x2006, 0x2007, 0x2008, 0x2009, 0x200A, 0x200B, 0x3000, and 0xFEFF. The null character is defined as hexadecimal 0x00. Like Gaurav said, using a byte array should solve the problem.
