hi,
I have
encountered the following problem in SQL Server.
The
query in SQl Server 2000
select firstname +' '+lastname as uname from
user_info
if
lastname has no value then uname is retuning null insted of returing
firstname(which is not null value)
The same
query is in Oracle 8i is
select firstname
||' '||lastname as uname from user_info
returing correct name for
uname.
is this a Bug in Sql Server
?
Any pointers on this are
helpful.
