Hi All,   Me again ... :) ... Well Ram can you pls refer to the previous explanation I 
have given in the same post ...    It is to be understood that this particular 
behaviour is by design and is not to be considered as a bug ... SQL Server in its 
definition does consider the concatenation of NULLs differently hence we do have this 
setting as mentioned before for every connection.   Yes as your requirement the IsNull 
is a solution ... But I wanted to stress on the Basics out here ... :) ...   Pls get
