This difference requires minor revision in your application program code. Oracle Microsoft SQL Server SELECT FNAME||' '||LNAME AS NAME FROM STUDENT_ADMIN.STUDENT SELECT FNAME +' '+ LNAME AS NAME FROM STUDENT_ADMIN.STUDENT i.e i thought it might e a bug.
