Hi Everybody , My doubt could be bit trivial but still i wanna know nitty gritties
of this thing , i am into microsoft technologies from .net only , now whenever we make
a web application if we need to provide some client side logic or processing , we can
add <script language="javascript"> and do it , now as per me javascript & vbscript
are meant for client side functioning , but however i can go ahead and add
runat="server" tag to the same , in this case it gives me an exception as page
language is c# , so if i just remove that ( language = C# ) in page directive , things
start working , Now does that mean that javascript is there for both server & client
or there's some flaw in my understanding , because what i have seen is whenever we go
for customvalidator , then we need to provide client and server side script and
normally client side script is in javascript / vbscript and server side in a .net
compliant language , I hope i am clear , any help would be appreciated , Regards ,
Mrinal
