Hi Rajesh,   Understand that basically SQLXML was developed primarily to extend the 
capabilities of using SQL Server. And having said that the features in store were in 
line for them only. Esp. the ones that you have mentioned like updategrams and 
diffgrams. Even for a simple matter of fact the normal configuration screen in IIS 
allows access to SQL Server only.   Did I get closer to your question ... And such 
requests have been heard and from SQLXML 3.0 version there are other capabilities that 
allow us to query different Datasources also. But now that is only at the programming 
skill level. You can use the "Client-side XML" formatting and query any datasource (eg 
Oracle) and format them as XML at the client by recieving row-sets from the provider.  
 So surely the technology is catching the market and more interoperability have been 
provided. But understand they are primarily very effective for SQL Server for sure ...
