Hi,   To understand this you should first know how  .NET Runtime locate 
assemblies,  read this article.

   When you reference any assembly in .NET, it wont use the source dll path for 
accessing that dll.  .NET uses probing methodology to access the assembly, so 
first it will check whether your component is there in GAC. If it is there, it 
will use it. Otherwise it will check for application directory and its bin
