Thanks, it makes me nervous when I can't shut down cleanly. :-) An unrelated question: I have a decent cross-compile setup, but most of the time it's more convenient and more reliable to build things on the target platform itself. You mentioned once, I think, having a beefy ARM system--is there anything out there better than, say, a CompuLab Utilite that won't break the bank?
